Pretty Little Thing

Whilst do some online window shopping I came across Pretty Little Thing.  See I have heard of them before and been on the site numerous times, however, I had failed to notice that they actually sell clothes and shoes as well as accessories. Not only did I find that I loved most of their stock, but that they are really reasonable/affordable prices too.  This makes me very very happy!

Here's a few picks that I have my eye on...
(P.S. I apologise for the models in the pictures, they don't seem to have the clothes without them! Annoys me!)

1 * 2 * 3 * 4 * 5 * 6

I'll be honest, the boots are my absolute favourite and you have to save best till last right?
Although I am desperate to buy everything on this website, I do think that you would have to be cautious. Their sizing bugs me! A lot of the stuff on there is either 'one size' or 'S/M, M/L'

No harm in trying I suppose...bring on payday me thinks.

Questions from Paresa
1. Do you use other bloggers reviews to help you?

Definitely! Its always handy to to see reviews on blogs to help you with a product. Especially when it's something that you are in need of!

Mascara or Eyeliner -and why?

Ooooo, I think I would go for mascara.  Purely for the fact that you can wear it on its own and it can instantly change the way you look, but for me eyeliner is never complete without some mascara.

Jeans or Leggings- and why?

Leggings all the way.  I can only wear jeans if they have lycra in them (god blessed me with generous thighs and butt!)

4. Whats your opinion on tattoos?

Love them. I have 1 myself and would get some more.  However, I want my tattoo's to mean something to me so wouldn't just get any old thing like lots of people do.

5. What hobbies do you have?

I'll be honest I can't really give you one.  I like to sing, but don't actually perform so technically I can't call it a hobby.  Blogging as well, I do enjoy that!

6. Do you use instagram?

I do ideed @emilyrousell

7. Do you watch youtube 'bloggers', if so who is your favourite?

I don't actually, I would, however I know this seems like a poor excuse, but I live in the countryside ish so the signal at our house is pretty rubbish. I don't get any wifi in my room.  So unless I sit on top of the router I can't actually do anything on my phone or laptop.

Favourite makeup item?

At the moment it will have to be my Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner pen! Its amazing.  But overall product is my Mac foundation.

Shops you shop in the most?

I'm a Primark bird, but I shop in all the high street shops to be honest. H&M, New Look, ASOS, Topshop and the rest.

10. What countries have you travelled to?

Spain, Greece, France, Bulgaria, Tunisia, Maldives, Cyprus

Whats your most listened to song?

It would be helpful if I had my ipod or itunes wouldn't it? But off the top of my head I would say probably Face for the Radio by my favourite band The View.

Make Up & Stuff

So for Christmas I asked for the Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner pen.  I ended up getting 2, one from both my Mum & Dad (split family) but I don't care because I love it! It's so so easy to use, and if you are anything like me and you want your eyeliner to be even, then it really helps.  Not only that but it also makes it quite easy to get lots of different thicknesses too. I went out to my pals house for a night of Monopoly (worst game in the world!) and Harry Potter Scene It (which i definitely won!) at the weekend and thought I wouldn't go for anything too drastic, just my my normal flicks.  Rather than using my usual Mascara, I used the Soap & Glory one that was also bought for me for Christmas.  Its Thick & Fast HD Mascara. This...I also love.  I'll be honest there is just general huge amounts of love for everything and anything S&G!

I also may have visited Primark this weekend, it was only a couple of tops that I figured I would need over the summer so why the hell not.  Especially at £6 each!  I bought them both over sized, as you  do, its just a much more comfortable feel for me & I think over sized looks better anyways.

Okay I can't help it, but I am majorly crushing on a particular young actress at the moment! Jennifer Lawrence...what a babe!

Like most people, I hadn't actually heard of her until The Hunger Games, which she was amazing in. I read an article a couple of months ago about her,  she was saying that in Hollywood she is considered a fat actress!! A fat actress? Probably one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard in my life. She is so effortlessly beautiful and her clothes? A girl after my own heart!

I love her!

Okay, so this bikini shot is being printed and stuck on my wall for inspiration!!

I actually wanted to post like a shit load more pictures of her, but I didn't want you to see how much of a stalker weirdo I am! Ha

Painted Lady

So, one of my Christmas presents this year was an Umberto Giannini nail set.  The colours are mainly dark which is what I prefer to wear on my nails most of the time anyways, so I was in luck!

Lady Stellar * Lady Luscious * Lady Love * Lady Gilt * Lady Violetta (Purple) * Lady Cloudia (Grey)

I am currently wearing Lady Stellar and I LOVE it!  It has really subtle hints of glitter in it which almost gives your nails a metallic effect.  It just looks a lot prettier than your normal black polish.  I haven't actually tried out any of the other colours thus far, but I very much intend to and if they are anything like Lady Stellar I'm very sure they wont disappoint me!

Terrible picture I know, but you can kind of see the glitter!

I usually find that when at work my nails chip very easily whilst I am constantly tapping away at a keyboard, but after a couple of coats this stays strong and keeps in perfect condition.

An extra bonus is that it is now half price in Boots - only 6 quid!!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas break.

I have kinda disowned the blog for a wee while!  But I figured, I don't really get many holidays and thought it was best that I really took advantage of my work free week and boy did I enjoy it! It was filled of pj's, chocolate and Gossip Girl (Chuck Bass, I love you!) Anyway, the only good thing that can come out of Christmas ending is the sales.  But I have to say I was so so disappointed! I have a split family so my boxing day was also filled with family duties, which meant the sales searching was pushed back to 27th. Well, going online was a waste of time and so was Bluewater to be honest. I mean I did buy 2 cute dresses from Urban Outfitters, but that was about as exciting as it got! The next best thing was a unit for my room!

Change of subject, its a new year and all that and I have been thinking more and more about resolutions. For me, resolutions are promises that are very easy to break and seem like such a waste of time. However, I only started my blog a few months ago and feel that I want to put a bit more time into it! So 2013 will be the year of the blog.  I am going to try and post more and include more photos, with an old iPhone camera this could prove a challenge.  The photographic evidence of my life may not be as good quality as other blogs, but its better than nothing I suppose!

Okay my second resolution is the same one I have EVERY year, along with probably 99% of the rest of the country. Losing some pounds.  I am always trying to shift some weight, but it's never enough that comes off and I genuinely believe that it's because I think about it too much.  I have never been the kind to diet, that's not what I do.  I enjoy food too much, I'm not saying I eat a lot or badly because I don't, but it's not fair that I should feel bad about myself because I have been invited out for a curry with my friends, or about having a Chocolate from my selection box whilst watching Gossip Girl. It's going to be the last time I feel like this!
This year is an important one, my boyfriends sister is getting married in August and even though I am so excited, I am also dreading it! I love summer clothes, but I hate myself in them,  However, I refuse to allow myself to spoil my day by being a miserable cow because I feel uncomfortable.

I am going to try and look ahead to the wedding with positivity and not dread and see losing weight as getting fit, healthy and as a realistic goal!
